  Course hours: 30 hours per week  
  Eligibility:

The course is open to any person aged 16 to 25 years, or any person aged 15 with an early leaving exemption from school; that is not currently engaged in education or employment and who has not achieved a Level 2 (or higher) qualification on the NZ Qualification Framework.

Students must be available to attend the programme for 30 hours per week and demonstrate a commitment to completing the qualifications on the programme.

  • New Zealand Certificate in Computing (User Fundamentals) (Level 2)
  • New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2)
  • National Certificate in Educational Achievement (Level 2)

  About the course:

This programme is aimed at learners who want to learn core information technology skills, and employment and self-management skills that have been identified by employers as being important for the workplace. The programme has been designed so learners will be able to transfer successfully into employment, community life and/or further study.
